Quilt Insurance, a renters insurance online broker, was acquired by modern life insurance agency Haven Life in August 2018. All of Quilt’s existing customers at the time of acquisition will now be serviced directly by the carriers who were already underwriting their policies.
In Florida, Security First will now be servicing any existing policies. And in all other states Quilt did business in, Stillwater Insurance Group will be handling the policies.
Quilt’s homepage says it is saying goodbye but not for good. The company says “we’re putting our heads down and changing focus, but the Quilt team will be back soon with something new and exciting.”
